Branding Photoshoot for a Custom Jewelry Shop in Downtown Boise

I loved doing this branding photoshoot for Portsche’s Fine Jewelry in downtown Boise. Portsche’s is a custom jewelry shop, they specialize in custom jewelry design, gold and estate buying, jewelry repairs and refurbishment, appraisals and jewelry resizing, cleanings and engravings. They have a beautiful shop on Idaho Street where we did their photoshoot.

Like most of my photoshoots, we covered a lot of ground and produced a lot of variety in a relatively short period of time.

Portsche’s needed updated staff headshots, a group photo of the entire staff, photos of the owners Dylan and Alyssa, and then storytelling lifestyle photos showcasing the shop and their process of custom designing jewelry for clients.

Their downtown shop is beautiful and I had a lot of fun utilizing the light, color, lines and textures in the shop for all of the different elements of this photoshoot.

I really loved the story telling and documenting process we went through, showing the custom jewelry design process from concept and drawing, to 3D print and we even did some photos of them goldsmithing (spell check is saying goldsmithing isn’t a word, I’m still going with it :)).

We needed customers for this photoshoot, so we brought in Dylan and Alyssa’s family members to be a part of the photoshoot and it worked so well. I always find when people know each other and are connected it just makes everyone more comfortable and I think it makes the photoshoot a fun experience for everyone to share and remember.

I was really grateful to spend the afternoon with Dylan and Alyssa and their team and inspired by their process and craftsmanship on designing and building custom jewelry for their clients.
