commercial photography featured in Sun Valley Magazine
I always love seeing photography work in print and I’m really honored to have commercial photography work I did for the Stanley Sawtooth Chamber of Commerce featured on a full page advertisement for Stanley in the latest issue of Sun Valley Magazine.
There’s something about holding a real printed image in your hands, vs what we’re used to, which is mainly seeing images digitally, behind a flat piece of glass with light behind them. Which is OK, but I’m going to say it’s inferior.
These two pages represented many different commercial photoshoots I’ve done for Stanley, Idaho and so many fun memories of adventuring with my camera for photoshoots, which is one of my very favorite things to do.
You can scroll through the digital version of this issue of Sun Valley magazine here.
Cover image is not mine, and on the full page spread all of the images are mine except for two of them, the person riding a fat bike and the people playing hockey, those are taken by the talented Dani Schoeben w/ The Good Tourist.
I also just realized I’ve got another photo featured in an article later in the magazine, I didn’t take photos of it because I forgot, but I’ve attached a screen shot so you can see it, it’s a photo from Stanley Winter Fest of a raft going down a huge hill with the Sawtooth Mountains in the background.
