Boise Branding Photographer for Entrepreneurs | Downtown and Outdoor Brand Photoshoot

As a branding photographer in Boise, one of my favorite things is finding a way to take one photoshoot and deliver a big variety of looks and work from it. Boise makes this pretty easy because we have so much variation in locations, all within a short distance of each other.

This makes my job fun, and it delivers more value to my clients because we can literally take one photoshoot and make it appear like multiple photoshoots by purposeful use of locations, wardrobe and light.

Brad is from Texas and we did his photoshoot in January (I’m a little behind on the posting front you can tell). There’s this location on Bogus Basin Road, a huge rock outcropping, I’ve always wanted to use, and Brad’s photoshoot was the opportunity I was looking for.

The nice thing about the location is that it’s RIGHT off of the road, like 50 feet, so it’s really easy to access, but it looks like you’re actually out in the wild, so it’s really convenient and beautiful.

The photoshoot happened in the inversion time and while I was disappointed to not have sunshine, we also got a really cool, moody look to the photos and really interesting light at this location in the foothills on Bogus Basin Road. Which I knew Brad would love because he was concerned about mood and storytelling.

Next we went to á cafe in downtown Boise, they were gracious enough to let us take photos there and use their beautiful space.

We finished up at Boise Urban Studio, one of my favorite studios to use in town for photoshoots, it has beautiful natural light, great backdrops and lots of different options. I always find that my clients feel great in the space too.
