General Questions
How far in advance should I book?
Most clients book 2 - 8 weeks in advance, depending on the season. If you have a deadline or launch date, reach out as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
What should I wear for my photos?
Choose outfits that feel like you, comfortable, confident, and aligned with your brand. Solid colors photograph well, and simple textures look great on camera. After booking, I’ll send wardrobe guidance specific to your session type.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely. You don’t have to know anything about being in front of the camera, I’ll guide you through natural movement and poses so everything feels relaxed and authentic. I think one of my greatest gifts is making people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Do you travel outside of Boise?
Yes! I regularly photograph in Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, all different locations in the Treasure Valley, and throughout Idaho, the Pacific Northwest and I’ve even traveled abroad for work. Travel fees may apply for sessions outside the Boise area.
How long does it take to get my final images?
Most galleries are delivered within 1–2 weeks depending on the session. If you have a tight timeline, let me know - I offer rush delivery when needed.

What’s included in a branding session?
Branding sessions include planning and pre-production, creative direction, multiple looks or locations, guidance throughout the shoot, and a curated set of edited images. You’ll walk away with a complete and in depth image library for your website, social media, and marketing.
Can we capture different outfits, locations, or props?
Yes, variety is one of the most important parts of branding photography. We’ll plan your looks and locations ahead of time so the shoot flows smoothly and so that your content is varied and useful across all of your platforms and for all of your marketing needs.
Do you help with planning or creative direction?
Absolutely. Before the session, we’ll go over your goals, brand messaging, visual style, and how you plan to use your images. I make the planning process simple, in depth and strategic.

How long is a headshot session?
Sessions typically range from 10 minutes for quick updates to 45–60 minutes for full branding-style headshots.
Can you photograph my whole team?
Yes, I regularly photograph teams of all sizes. I can come to your office or set up a studio-style environment on location. Team rates are available and the biggest team I’ve photographed is 200 people.
Do you retouch headshots?
Yes, your final images include natural, professional retouching that keeps you looking like you.

How do you price commercial projects?

Can we photograph at my home or workspace?
Yes, lifestyle sessions can take place anywhere your story naturally lives: home, studio, office, outdoors, or on location.
What if I’m camera shy?
Almost everyone feels that way at first, but within a few minutes, you’ll feel comfortable. I guide you gently throughout the process, and I promise you’ll have a good time.

Do you photograph corporate or business events?
Yes, I cover business events, conferences, brand activations, workshops, company parties, and more.
What do event packages include?
Coverage includes documentary-style images of speakers, guests, details, candid interactions, and key moments. You’ll receive a clean, polished gallery for marketing and internal use.
Can I get photos quickly after the event?
Yes, I offer rush delivery when needed, especially for PR, press, and social media deadlines.

Do you deliver images sized for social media?
Absolutely. You’ll get both high-resolution and social-ready versions optimized for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
